We believe that great design is the fusion of your preferences and lifestyle with the design expertise and ideas of a DOTI Design Consultant. When you work with a DOTI designer, she or he will invest time in learning about you, how you wish to use the rooms in your home, and your tastes and preferences for colors and materials.

Oftentimes, your DOTI designer will request an appointment with you at your home to measure rooms, existing furniture, windows, and to look at traffic patterns. This information allows your designer to customize design and product recommendations for you, your home, your lifestyle and within your budget.

You'll also find that your DOTI designer is an invaluable resource for information about DOTI products - from furniture construction and faux wall finishes to the durability of upholstery fabrics and illumination provided by lighting products.

Perhaps the most surprising thing about the relationship with your DOTI designer is that design services are provided at no additional charge, when you use our products. Every detail is managed on your behalf from the ordering of your furnishings through the placement in your home.

We think that fine design should be part of every client relationship. And when you have a relationship with our DOTI store it’s included as just one facet of the personalized service we deliver everyday.

In 1993, I opened my own design studio, in a quaint downtown district in lower Michigan. As time went by, my successes and reputation expanded, earning me local awards and acknowledgements. I played a key role in the downtown community, on The Board of Downtown Business Development, and on the Executive Board of Directors, of the Chamber of Commerce. Both allowed me to be involved in community service and volunteer work.   Also, while living in Michigan, I acted on a State of Michigan advisory subcommittee, made up of architects and Interior designers, which created Public Act 250. While working throughout the State, on a variety of projects, I became an active member of the Michigan Design Center, in Troy, Michigan.

After 12 years, I decided to relocate to beautiful Phoenix, Arizona. I pursued several areas of design and sales, before joining the team at Designs of the Interiors, in Mesa. I welcomed the opportunity to share my knowledge and guidance with a qualified team of Interior Designers, and plan on making DOTI, my long term career choice.

I developed the love of color and fabrics at an early age growing up in Wisconsin, by sewing doll clothes and curtains for my bedroom. My design courses were put to good use during the 15 years that I owned and operated my own design business in

Ft. Lauderdale. At the urging of my family, I finally moved west, four years ago and settled into the beautiful community of Fountain Hills with 2 cute & cuddly Tsu Shish puppies. Just before joining the DOTI Team, I traveled extensively throughout Europe with my Sister. That experience gave me exposure to so many cultural and architectural styles that will forever aid me in creating distinctive design projects.

“I am stimulated by the contrast between geometric and organic shapes. I aspire to take a clients image and use it as my inspiration. I integrate old thoughts into modern ideas by fusing ones’ personal elements with innovative ones that showcase style, design, comfort and quality. My goal as a designer is to create designs that are both good for the soul and good for the earth.”

“As a designer, it is my intention to design your home, so it reflects your personality and suits your lifestyle. I work to create functional, organized, and beautifully stylized interiors. My goal is to design a space you are happy to call home.”

As a child I was always rearranging the furniture in my family’s house, not knowing that my passion for design, style, color, and functionality was just beginning at that point. After taking several design courses and completing a degree in Interior Design helped that passion blossom into a great career. That career has involved creating custom window treatments, commercial space planning, and healthcare design. I look forward to applying all that knowledge to my career here at DOTI and be the designer that helps create an environment that will make you smile every time you walk into the room!
